Reverend Maureen Bailey LLB Hons F.R.S.A.  is an award-winning experienced women and equalities specialist with over 25 years' experience, working in corporate, educational and charity settings.  She is also a  resilience coach, trainer and entrepreneur who seeks to raise awareness on prevention and aspirational issues, building  self-esteem in women and families  who have experienced abusive situations in their lives and supporting women start-ups in business.  She is a sought-after speaker on domestic abuse, mental health, and self-esteem issues among other topics.

Maureen specialises in raising self-esteem and confidence in women, girls and families advocating equality issues.  She loves coaching professional women and works well with  women who have suffered abuse who now want to realise their potential despite the obstacles.

Maureen was awarded the Humanitarian International Woman of Excellence Award in 2008 and named as a Finalist for Inspiring Leader within a work place ( Precious Awards). In 2019 her consultancy practice was a finalist in Merton Best Business ‘Extra Mile’ Award. The Inner Strength. Network was awarded the William Sutton Prize 2018 “Highly Commended for Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

She was the first Head of Woman and Equality Network for The Ministry of Justice for over 15 years. She currently chairs the Hate Crime Strategic Group for Merton speaking up against any form of discrimination within the workplace and/ or the community.

Delivery of accredited courses to support the community is a strength of Maureen's.  Her approach is fair but firm and as she builds safe spaces for all the protected characteristics. 

Her specialism is how to overcome abusive situations in the workplace and in the community.

As the Founder and CEO of Inner Strength Network she has over 20 years experience dedicated to coaching women and girls and their families to overcome difficult moments.
